There are two kinds of transformation: push and pull. The push model engages the clientâ€™s existing teams and streams with a large crew of external experts who train and coach them all at once. A pull transformation is iterative, assembling a tiny but uncompromised kernel of the new culture out of progressives cherry-picked from across the client organization. It iteratively converts these first change recipients into change agents, and thereby generates a self-propagating transformation. Peter will demonstrate why a pull-transformation is so much cheaper, quicker, better and safer than the more popular push model, presenting case studies with which he has direct experience, and providing practical advice on how to stage and trouble-shoot one of your own.
