Summary:
To become truly Agile, organisations need to "unlearn" many strategies and tactics and create new ones that are not tainted by the thinking that led to the design of those they are replacing. This is definitely the case when it comes to the very emotive and intertwined topics of performance and reward. Agile embraces the concepts of team and the motivation of knowledge workers; yet most performance management and reward strategies still target rewarding individuals and hang on to the traditional ranking performance management systems. This talk will focus on a new (and Agile) approach to performance management and reward.
